Job summary

Summit Health Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MR exams, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will follow MRI protocols, position patients, and collaborate with Radiologists to support accurate interpretations.

Requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification, graduation from an accredited MRI program, BLS, and 1–3 years of experience. Proficiency with EMR, RIS and PACS is essential; Monday–Friday 12:30pm–9:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 1-3 years’ experience required.
• Graduated from an accredited MRI program with current MRI certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required. IV certificate preferred.
• The ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Advanced computer skills including email, Microsoft applications and ability to comprehend and utilize EMR RIS and PACS Systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR examinations requiring understanding of positioning, protocols and equipment to produce optimum results.
• Assumes accountability for delivering safe patient care.
• Prepares patients and provides instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
• Communicates with attending Radiologist and verifies orders.
• Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Maintains MRI room cleanliness and adheres to infection control standards.
