Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality images in an inpatient setting. You will assist with training and take part in PACS data management and scanner maintenance.

Minimum education includes graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program and NYS licensure; ARRT certification is expected on hire. Evening shift coverage available, with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• NYS licensure as Radiologic Technologist upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MRI equipment and coils, monitor patients, ensure image quality, and troubleshoot artifacts.
• Train MRI technologists and students; manage PACS data; ensure safe access to MRI suite.
