Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under supervision in the Trenton facility. The role requires an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine program and 1 year of related experience. Certifications as listed are preferred or required upon hire.

The MRI team supports patient-centered care with a focus on safety and accuracy. Evening shift, 36 hours weekly, with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program or JRCNMT Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years preferred.
• Multiple ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications may be required or preferred depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.
• Follow patient-centered care policies at all times.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in MRI suite.

About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) Required.
• 1 year of relevant experience. 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
