Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintains ongoing development of MRI skills and safety practices.
• Controls and documents patient data and imaging procedures according to policy.
• Maintains awareness of hospital safety and patient privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Operates MRI scanner and supporting equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Prepares procedure room, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and answers questions.
• Coordinates care with other members of the health care team.
• Maintains MRI safety standards to minimize risk to patients and staff.
