Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System Mercy Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI exams for patients of all ages, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the process. You will work with cutting‑edge technology in a world‑class setting and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, reviewing screening data, acquiringImages, and handling image transfer via PACS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent per ARRT pathway.
• Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check patients prior to MRI procedure.
• Acquire and review patient questionnaire and data to determine contraindications.
• Perform MRI procedures per protocol and conduct daily QA.
• Perform venipunctures and administer contrast as needed.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures and safety.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams.
• Coordinate scheduling and image transfers via PACS/RIS.
