Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI exams for patients of all ages. You will ensure patient comfort and safety, explain procedures, and use the latest imaging technologies to support high-quality diagnoses.

Responsibilities include adhering to protocol, daily QA, mentoring new hires, and coordinating with the Radiology team. Shift is days, with 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm; sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or ARRT pathway.
• ARRT MRI certification in good standing, or equivalent.
• MR imaging certification required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and review patient data to determine contraindications for MRI.
• Perform MRI procedures per protocol and daily QA tasks.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Mentor new hires and radiology students; attend in-service sessions.
