Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient care. You will present images and patient history to the Radiologist to support diagnostic reports.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am-9:30pm with call requirements. ARRT registered or MR eligible within 1 year, BCLS within 30 days, and 2–3 years MRI experience preferred. Centerpoint offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Patient care and positioning of patients.
• Assess image quality and adjust settings as needed.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients.
• Start IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters as needed.
• Release patients with post-procedure instructions.
• Prepare and sterilize room between patients.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures.
