Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN role in Imaging Services.

The position involves performing MRI studies, preparing patients and equipment, and working in the MRI Department with on-call expectations.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or trade school equivalent, relevant licensure/certifications, and CPR/IV therapy training; prior experience is preferred but not required.

The Radiology Departmentat Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a full-service, diagnosticcenter dedicated to deliveringthe highest quality imaging services to our patients and their physicians. We provide competent, courteous and compassionate clinical services, andrespond to requests for services from patients and referring physicians promptly. Same-day-service and delivering quick results to physicians are hallmarks of our services.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
