Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI/PACS equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging across patient populations. You will handle contrast administration, data entry, and emergency call responses while maintaining patient safety and compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, coil selection, setting protocols, and image transmission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA or JRCERT approved program as a Registered Technologist R.T. (R).
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as MR technologist or ARRT registered with 1 year MRI experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist or R.T.(R).
• BLS CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Positioning patients and securing them on MR table.
• Selects imaging coils and settings; performs MR procedures.
• Transmits images to PACS for interpretation and record.
• Monitors image quality and conducts daily QC of MR unit.
• Performs contrast administration and phlebotomy as needed.
