Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images, uphold safety standards, and ensure patient comfort throughout scanning sessions.

On-site role with Mon-Thu 8:00am–6:30pm plus on-call responsibilities; weekend work not required, but on-call may apply. Required credentials include ARRT RT or ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR with BLS certification; graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program is

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography or MRI program.
• ARRT RT or ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR certification.
• BLS certification required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure accurate imaging and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or
• ARMRIT (MR)
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
