Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for designated body regions. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic or MRI program, ARRT MR/RT or ARMRIT MR certification, and current BLS certification.

Preferred candidates may have 1 year of MRI experience and additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered by ARRT (RT) or MR or ARMRIT (MR).
• Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications are preferred.

REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or

ARMRIT (MR)

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

One (1) year of experience in MRI.

Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
