Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Duluth, GA, is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic tomographic images for various body regions. The role requires ARRT MR or ARRT RT credentials and BLS certification, with preference for MRI experience.

Work hours are 7am-7am with rotating weekend shifts; on-site work in a fast-paced radiology department. One year MRI experience is preferred and additional life-support certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or MRI program.
• Registered Technologist ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• CPR/BLS certification required.

• Utilizes MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for designated parts of the body.

Responsibilities

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or

ARMRIT (MR)

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

One (1) year of experience in MRI.

Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7am-7am
