Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening and patient monitoring.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical record and image archive system (EPIC/Visage).
• Adheres to organisational values, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
