Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Illinois. You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging using approved protocols. The role includes contrast administration, exam coordination, and meticulous documentation in EPIC and Visage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols.
• Administers contrast per policy with appropriate monitoring.
• Operates MRI equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Documents exam setup, image routing, results and charges in the medical record systems.
