Job summary

ChristianaCare Imaging Department is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to work at Newark Hospital during the day shift. The role requires ARRT MRI Registry, an associate degree in radiology, and Siemens equipment experience.

The candidate will perform MRI procedures, manage patient data, and ensure image quality while adhering to safety standards. Hourly pay range is listed, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI Registry completion is required.
• Two year associate degree in Radiology.
• Two years MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols.
• Works with RIS, HIS, and Intergy systems and enters patient data.
• Transmits high-quality images to PACS.
• Ensures adequate patient history is obtained and documented.
• Performs QC and digitizes films as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Follows safety rules and reports unsafe conditions promptly.
• Delivers care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
