Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist in Marble Falls, TX, for full-time daytime coverage in Radiology. The role involves performing MRI procedures, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

The position emphasizes adherence to imaging protocols, patient communication via AIDET, and maintaining equipment and records. A relocation lump sum may be offered, and a $10k bonus is provided as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/licensure as MRI technologist (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures following exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and explains tests.
• Prepares patient and area for the procedure and positions equipment.
• Maintains safety and infection-control standards.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness and reports issues.
• Screens people entering the department and maintains patient documentation.
• Maintains medical imaging records in accordance with policies.
