Job summary

The Heart Hospital - Baylor Scott & White Health in Plano, TX is seeking a Multimodality Tech with MRI and X-ray experience for a full-time days shift. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and documenting results per established protocols. 1 week-on-call every 5 weeks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have MRI and X-ray experience.
• 2 years MRI experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients and assess tolerance for the exam.
• Prepares patient and area for procedures and positions to optimize imaging.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality standards and coordinates with engineers/physicists.
• Obtains and verifies all relevant documentation and maintains imaging records.
