Qualifications

• Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent national certification) required.
• Completion of an accredited MRI program.
• Previous experience in MRI imaging within a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient in the operation of MRI scanners and associated equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with patients.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records and document procedures in electronic health systems.
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging results and patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
