Job summary

Memorial Hermann's The Woodlands Outpatient Imaging Department is seeking a MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality scans. A strong emphasis on patient comfort, safety and accurate imaging is required.

Ideal candidates have a radiologic technology degree, BLS/ACLS certification, and 2+ years MRI experience. This on-site role involves scheduling review, IV starts, and collaboration with radiologists and staff to maintain patient flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• BLS or ACLS certification required; ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• At least 2 years MRI experience preferred; able to lift and move patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures, prepares patients, positions them, and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs QA on MR equipment and assists with accreditation renewal.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions.
• Takes emergency call within the department.
• Promotes safety and professional growth; mentors staff.
• Creates compassionate and personalized patient experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
