Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire an MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Park Nicollet Radiology team members partner with providers to ensure that each patient has a safe, caring experience. We value teamwork and partnering because it promotes safety, quality, and caring for everyone we work with. Working at Park Nicollet Radiology means you make a difference every day! Performs high-quality and accurate diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, clinicians, and staff professionally and courteously. Applies knowledge of MRI safety, emergency protocols, and procedures. Performs tasks to comply with regulatory standards. Educates and trains others on MRI equipment operation, procedures, image quality, and exposure techniques.

Work Schedule

Full-time 1.0 FTE. M-F, weekends, holidays, and call as needed. Hours: 11:45am-8:15pm

Required Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required and must be maintained.
• Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance required within 12 months after first shift working solo within modality.
• Must maintain ARRT (R)(MR). In lieu of ARRT (R), an ultrasound or nuclear medicine certification may be considered based on business need.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 6 months and maintain it continuously.
• Problem-solving skills and discretion with patient information.
• Knowledge of specialized imaging systems such as 3D reconstruction.
• Good judgment, strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
• Experience in MRI specialties (e.g., Cardiac, Breast, Prostate, 3T) is preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently, including patient transfer devices, emergency equipment, and computer systems.
• Willingness to train and maintain competency in new equipment and technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional training or experience in MRI is preferred.
