Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to screen patients before MRI procedures and perform scans following Radiologists' protocols. You will document histories and transfer images into EPIC/EMR and PACS, with preference for Cardiac and Pediatrics experience.

Ability to apply MRI-compatible monitoring and IV pumps when needed is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, teamwork, and patient-centered care will help orchestrate daily MRI workflow in a busy clinical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program.
• Current ARRT License required.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and screens patients prior to MRI procedures.
• Performs MRI procedures following radiologists' protocols.
• Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in EPIC/EMR and PACS.
• Cardiac and Pediatrics experience preferred; applies MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump as needed.
