Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Lexington Medical Center - MRI to perform quality MRI examinations under supervision. The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, patient care, and adherence to hospital policies.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA/CMA accredited imaging program, CPR certification, and current ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, offering comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA or CMA accredited program in an imaging modality.
• Certified in basic CPR.
• Current registered technologist in good standing with ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists in performing quality MRI examinations in a timely and efficient manner under supervision of an ARRT registered MRI Technologist.
• Schedules procedures and maintains records to support department efficiency and coordinates with other departments as needed.
• Assists with room preparation and restocking to ensure patient care readiness.
• Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and service quality.
• Maintains current education/credentials to meet work objectives and apprenticeship requirements.
