UAB Medicine is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and MRI manager. You will render prescribed MRI services with independence and judgment, and may take on interim supervisory or instructional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR registration required.
• Work experience cannot substitute for education.
• Within six months from hire date for MRI eligible candidates required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under the direction of a radiologist and MRI manager.
• Operate MRI equipment with independent judgment and initiative.
• May be assigned duties as interim supervisor or instructor.
