Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures with independent judgment on a rotating schedule. The role is full-time, four 10-hour days from 8:45am to 7:30pm, with Mondays off. A radiology degree and ARRT radiography registration are required; MRI certification must be obtained within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology required (education cannot be substituted).
• ARRT radiography registration required or registry-eligible with registration within 6 months of employment.
• Advanced certification in MRI required or must be obtained within 12 months.
• Current CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with independence and professional judgment.
• Take responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
