Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital to perform high-quality MRI imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

The role requires ARRT-R and NYS Radiologic Technology licensure within 6 months, plus MRI experience is preferred. You will document exams in the EMR, assist with patient transport, and collaborate with the Radiology team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. or hospital certificate in Radiologic Technology completed or in progress.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required or licensure within six months of hire.
• ARRT-R certification required within 6 months of employment.
• NYS Injection Certification within 6 months of employment.
• BLS Certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients about the procedure and maintain a supportive environment.
• Provide timely service and on-call coverage for the MRI section.
• Document exams and procedures in the EMR (Radiant Care Connect).
• Prepare rooms, restock supplies, and ensure equipment readiness.
