Job summary

Qualifications

• NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• NYS Injection Certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures and ensures patient safety.
• Educates patients about procedures and maintains a comfortable environment.
• Maintains documentation of exams in the EMR and ensures timely service.
• Provides on-call coverage for MRI and coordinates with Radiology staff.
• Prepares and restocks MRI rooms daily.
• Administers IV contrast per protocol and competency criteria.
• Operates PACS and transfers imaging data for archiving.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other modalities for patient flow.
• Monitors patient status and escalates changes as needed.
