Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to provide clinical imaging services and support radiology operations.

You will ensure patient safety, follow magnetic safety protocols, and maintain equipment and rooms to high standards. Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, Vermont licensure, BLS, ARRT certification, and preferably recent hospital MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Vermont Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Recent hospital MRI technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and act as a resource to students and technologists.
• Administer patient care per department policies to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate magnetic safety for patients, staff and self per protocols.
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat, safe condition.
• Complete ancillary tasks to support efficient departmental operations.
