Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an MRI Tech II to perform advanced MRI procedures and uphold strict safety standards. You will adapt to evolving imaging technology and ensure safe imaging for patients with implants, while maintaining patient comfort, especially for claustrophobic individuals.

Requirements include CAHEA/JRCT-approved radiologic technologist training and ARRT MRI certification, with ARMRIT/NMTCB options also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
• ARRT MRI Certification required (or ARMRIT/NMTCB MRI Certification).
• Two years MRI experience preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced MRI procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
• Enforce MRI safety with implants and devices.
• Provide patient comfort and support for claustrophobic patients.
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.
