Job summary

Universal Health Services in Riverside is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a range of MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort across all age groups. The role requires independence in the exam process and close collaboration with radiologists to optimize protocols and patient care.

Preferred candidates will have ARRT MR certification, BLS, and 2–3 years of MR experience in a hospital or clinic setting; Siemens MRI familiarity is a plus, contributing to high-quality imaging

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital/clinic radiology experience preferred.
• Three years MR experience preferred.
• Certified MRI technologist with ARRT MR.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and records for exam appropriateness.
• Perform standard MRI procedures including setup, scans, and processing.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during the MRI exam.
• Ensure MRI equipment is safe and report issues to Radiology Director.
• Maintain accurate procedure records in logbook.
• Orient new personnel to department procedures.
