Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures and post-processing. You will ensure accurate imaging, maintain records, and rotate across UCLA Health radiology sites while upholding safety standards.

The role requires ARRT and CRT (or ARRT and ARMRIT MR) licenses, BLS certification, and patient-focused care. MRI experience and Siemens system familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Licenses required: ARRT and CRT, or ARRT and ARMRIT (MR).
  • BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Graduate from a Radiologic Technologist Program (preferred).
  • AA or BS degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year MRI experience preferred.
  • Siemens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures and post-processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and processing of radiology orders.
  • Operate post-processing/3D workstations and archive images.
  • Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media.
  • Rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health and ensure patient safety.
