Job summary

Riverside Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist RT(MR) to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work with radiologists and staff to ensure safety and efficiency in the MRI suite, while maintaining excellent patient care and communication.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic sciences or approved allied health program, with ARRT(R)MR eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong MRI operation and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures meeting diagnostic standards.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Provide headphones or earplugs to reduce noise and improve comfort.
• Perform daily quality control checks on MRI systems for safety and performance.
• Document patient information, imaging procedures and results in the EMR.
