Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Madisonville, KY seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, position patients, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. The role requires completion of an accredited MRI program with ARRT MR certification preferred, BLS, and strong patient care.

You’ll work with RIS/PACS, maintain imaging area, and adhere to HIPAA; contract assignment with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI program.
• ARRT (MR) certification is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and conducting a variety of procedures.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding of the process.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters.
• Monitor patient condition during exams and communicate any concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Utilize RIS/PACS systems for documentation and archiving of images.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging area, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to HIPAA and institutional policies for patient confidentiality.
