McLaren Health Care seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and complex MRI procedures with high-quality imaging under general supervision. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, position patients, and operate MRI equipment while ensuring safety and documentation standards.

Formación

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Specializes in performing routine and complex MRI procedures.
• Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns to foster comfort and confidence.
• Operates and maintains all assigned MRI equipment to ensure proper function.
• Positions patients and uses equipment to capture images requested by a physician.
• Performs quality assurance and safe radiation practices to minimize exposure.
• Maintains documentation and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Keeps consumables stocked for quality testing and equipment maintenance.
• May assist other areas of radiology as assigned.
