Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and manage quality control in the MRI area. The role requires familiarity with MRI systems, scheduling workflows, and patient tracking using RIS.

You will work with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and accuracy while providing excellent patient care. A radiology education, ARRT MR/ARMRIT certification within 6 months, CPR, and outpatient MRI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology School.
• Previous outpatient MRI experience desirable.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures with high quality and safety.
• Operate MR equipment and manage quality control in the MRI area.
• Utilize RIS for scheduling, patient tracking and exam completion.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, assess situations, and select appropriate actions.
• Care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients during imaging procedures.
• Assist with non-controlled medication handling as directed and uphold safety.
