Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking an MRI Tech to perform advanced MRI exams across multiple magnet strengths and imaging sequences. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong MRI physics knowledge, safety protocol adherence, and compassionate patient care, including management of claustrophobic patients and those with implants.

You will operate MRI equipment, maintain safety standards, and adapt to evolving imaging technologies under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB preferred.
• At least two years of radiology or cross-sectional imaging experience.
• Advanced MRI certification must be obtained within two years if holding a non-MRI radiology license.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and BLS certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain strict MRI safety standards and protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient support, including management of claustrophobic patients.
• Ensure safety for patients with implants such as pacemakers or electronic pumps.
