Job summary

ACHE in Burlington, VT seeks an MRI Tech I to perform complex MRI exams across different magnet strengths and with varying imaging techniques. The technologist must enforce MRI safety for patients with implants and provide compassionate care to claustrophobic patients under the supervision of the Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.

The role requires graduation from a CAHEA/JRCT-approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT MRI certification is preferred, with CE compliance and BLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
• ARRT MRI Certification preferred.
• CE compliant as required by governing bodies; ARRT MRI certification within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams on varying strength magnets.
• Ensure MRI safety for patients with and without implants.
• Adapt to new imaging techniques and technologies; enforce safety guidelines.
• Work under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.
