Advocate Health seeks an MRI Technologist for its Cleveland MRI department. The role performs MRI scans, ensures patient identification, provides explanations, and maintains safety protocols during imaging procedures.

A strong emphasis is placed on accurate history collection and EMR review to support radiologists in delivering precise results. The candidate must have ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT, with BLS certification, and be prepared to work a 36-hour week including Friday,

Formación

• ARRT MRI registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire. BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist when needed.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Interview patients to collect medical history and review EMR for pertinent data.
• Assumes responsibility for the exam from start to dictated results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast as directed by protocols.
• Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologist for abnormalities.
