Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, document procedures, and follow HIPAA privacy standards while delivering compassionate care.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in radiologic technology with ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility. BLS certification and flexibility to float to other departments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in radiologic technology or related field
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility
• BLS certification
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment according to Radiologist directives to produce diagnostic images
• Educate and explain imaging procedures and radiation safety to patients
• Accurately update patient records in the hospital EMR system
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures and ensure infection control
• May float to other departments as needed based on competency and business needs
