Job summary

Providence is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, handle setup, scanning and filming, and liaise with radiologists, physicians, patients and families. The role includes quality control, daily scheduling, assisting radiologists, and IV start within license scope, with on-call duties.

Qualified applicants will have an MRI-focused radiologic technology background, appropriate licensure, BLS, and strong evidence of patient-centered care in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Degrees or certifications required for MRI work.
• Licensure and ARRT/ARRT MR certifications needed on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including setup, scanning and filming.
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Perform quality control, maintain schedules, and assist radiologist.
• Handle medications within license scope and start IVs.
• Be on-call as part of department coverage.

MRI Technologist Training Program

Washington Radiologic Technologist license with MR designation

National Registered Technologist - MRI (RT MR)

National Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT)

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
