Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, manage setup, scanning and filming, and support radiologists and staff in a fast-paced imaging department.

The role requires a relevant radiologic technology education, MRI training and certification, BLS, and on-call availability. You will contribute to quality control, patient care, and departmental efficiency in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Assure proper MRI room setup and procedural workflow.
• Demonstrate competency in quality control and reporting tasks.
• Maintain day-to-day scheduling and assist radiologists and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including setup, scanning and filming.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Handle medications within scope of license and start IVs.
• Contribute to department efficiency and patient care continuity.
• Be available for on-call as required by department needs.
