Job summary

Providence is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning and filming while coordinating with radiologists, physicians, patients and families. The role also entails quality control, reporting and maintaining daily schedules to ensure smooth operation.

The successful candidate will assist the radiologist, handle medications within license scope, and start IVs as needed, while contributing to 24/7 patient care continuity on-call.

Qualifications

• Required: Radiologic technologist training or MRI-specific training.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• MR imaging credentials: ARRT MRI or MR technologist cert.
• On hire: National MR technologist registrations or ARRT MRI cert.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures: setup, scanning and filming.
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Quality control, reporting tasks and daily scheduling.
• Assist radiologist and handle medications within license scope.
• Start IVs and participate in on-call duties; ensure patient care continuity.
