Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and film output. You will communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families while ensuring quality control and efficient daily scheduling.

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, handling medications within licensure scope, starting IVs, and contributing to the department’s smooth operation. On-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program or MRI Technologist Training Program.
• Must obtain Washington Radiologic Technologist license with MR designation upon hire.
• Must have NRMT/ARRT MRI credentials or national certification at hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures: setup, scanning, and film output.
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families; document observations.
• Maintain quality control and reporting tasks; manage day-to-day scheduling.
• Assist radiologist; handle medications within licensure scope; start IVs as needed.
