Hmixray in Rockville, MD is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast when needed. You will work closely with a team to deliver accurate imaging and patient-centric care.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust MRI parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
