Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure patient safety in collaboration with radiologists and staff.

You will coordinate with other departments to maintain MRI safety, explain procedures to patients, and ensure proper billing and compliance with ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Experience: prior general radiology or MRI hospital experience (1 year).
• Current Certification for ARRT, MRTBE, ARDMS, JRCNMT, NMTCB or ARMRIT. CPR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with staff, physicians and patients; explain MRI procedures and safety.
• Ensure proper and fair charging of MRI procedures in compliance with guidelines.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Document patient history and verify safety requirements before MRI entry.
• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures and present findings to Radiologist.
