The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform comprehensive MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with radiologists, physicists, clinicians, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain documentation per policy.

Responsibilities include patient interviews, safety checks, contrast administration, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited JRCERT program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety and patient care procedures.

Mansioni

• Perform MRI procedures as prescribed with patient safety in mind.
• Conduct patient interviews, preparation, and discharge education.
• Screen patients and devices, manage clearance and safety concerns.
• Administer contrast media per standards and six rights of medication administration.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with radiologists and staff to optimize workflow.
