Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT invites an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce high quality diagnostic images under radiologist supervision. You will assess patients, prepare them for procedures, and follow safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines.

The role requires ARRT certification or eligibility, Montana licensure, and successful completion of a two-year degree or equivalent; the position offers full-time hours, rotating call, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AA) or diploma from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months related experience.
• ARRT (R) certification; additional certification in at least one other modality within 18 months of hire; BLS
• Current Montana licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images under Radiologist direction.
• Assess and prepare patients; explain procedures and safety measures to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance; input orders accurately.
• Monitor and safeguard radiation safety; perform QA activities and participate in quality reviews.
• Fiscally responsible for supplies and assist with education and competency assessments.
