Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an MRI Technologist in Phoenix, AZ to perform prescribed MRI procedures while upholding patient safety and image quality. You will collaborate with radiology staff to ensure efficient patient care and accurate imaging results. Requirements include ARRT certification and BLS; MRI modality certification within 18 months

Qualifications

• ARRT national certification and/or modality licensure.
• BLS certification.
• MRI modality certification within 18 months of hire.
• State licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures following orders and facility policies.
• Educates patients about the procedure and prepares them for imaging.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in prescribed interventional procedures if applicable.
• Performs equipment quality control and troubleshoots as needed.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to safety policies.
• Collaborates with radiology and nursing staff to ensure patient care.
