Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an Acute MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations for acute and hospitalized patients using established protocols. Ensures high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and MRI safety standards.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology, ARRT MRI certification, and state licensure where applicable. BLS certification and MRI safety training are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification or equivalent required.
• State radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Screen patients for MRI safety, implants, contraindications, and relevant medical history.
• Position and monitor patients appropriately throughout MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Follow MRI safety, radiation/imaging, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Communicate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate examination documentation.
