Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under a radiologist's supervision in a fast-paced setting in Phoenix, AZ. You will ensure patient safety, proper screening for MR safety, and coordinate with radiologists for implant considerations.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, assisting with anesthesia during MRI, and maintaining quality control and documentation across EMR/RIS and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 6 months of clinical experience required.
• ARRT certification or eligibility for ARRT NMTCB ARMRIT or MR certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams under radiologist supervision.
• Ensure MR safety and patient screening.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters for quality.
• Coordinate with radiologist for non-MR implant safety clearance.
• Assist anesthesia and nursing staff during MRI with sedation procedures.
• Maintain patient and staff safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Manage routine quality control tests and equipment upkeep.
