Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for the evening shift. The role performs MRI exams per physician orders, using advanced equipment and adapting imaging to patient needs.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates along with a comprehensive benefits package from day one. Licensure in Oregon or temporary license is required at hire, with BLS and ARRT/MR certification due within six months.

Qualifications

• Certification/license to practice MRI in Oregon required or temporary license at hire.
• New grads must obtain OBMI temporary license and upgrade within 6 months.
• Current BLS certification at hire.
• Within 6 months, obtain ARRT or MRI Technologist certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations per physician orders using advanced MRI equipment.
• Adjust imaging parameters and techniques based on patient needs and safety.
• Provide patient care and ensure comfort throughout the procedure.

Education

Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Temporary License

OBMI temporary license for new grads

American Heart Association BLS

National ARRT or MR Technologist certification within 6 months
